PEACE, NON-VIOLENCE, TRUTH AND BROTHERHOOD ARE THE PRINCIPLES OF EVERY RELIGION. Religions need to unite and strengthen the bond of brotherhood within. India is called a land of unity in diversity where people of different sects live together. India is a secular country, which means, equal treatment of all the religions present in India.
We should inculcate the values of respecting other religious cultures and languages among students. Ecumenical prayer service is organized in our school every month. On the first Friday of every month, Inter- religious prayer is being held in the common assembly. Prayers and Reading from the Holy Books of all Religions followed by an inspirational talk by a chief guest are part of these prayers. To create a nation with religious harmony and national integration is the prime aim of this programme. By organising these prayer services, students are made aware of values, morals and traditions of other religions. Students develop their inner growth and eventually learn to respect others, through these Inter- religious prayers.
